Most poor reviews are due to high ink usage for cleaning cycles. If you keep your printer on all the time and use it often, this wouldn't be as much of a problem. If you turn your printer off and use it occasionally (like me), then this can get expensive.
I have a MP600 which doesn't support WiFi. I have it attached to a Windows micro PC and am sharing it on my home network. I'd like to replace it, but the MP600 uses very little ink for cleaning cycles and sips ink when in draft mode. Low ink usage is one of the reasons why I switched from Epson to Canon. However, it sounds like Canon's ink usage has become worse over the last few years. Can anyone comment on the ink usage of the MG8220? |
