Logitech G930 $69.99 at Amazon w/ FSSS

I have this as well and love being able to go wireless. Works downstairs and even when I'm in the garage. Tempted to almost get a spare...

By the way, I love my G930s. I can roam my entire house, listening to music or chatting with friends on voice programs. You can program the three G keys on the headset to be push-to-talk buttons or to fast forward, rewind tracks in iTunes and WMP.

Does it work on Xbox 360??

noise cancellation is a pretty big problem for me. these will not work with anything but driver supported systems, pc and mac

No, this is for PC only. There is an Xbox and PS3 version (F540) that Amazon has for a little over $100 right now. There may be a way to jimmy these to work for an Xbox via some plug converters but I'm not sure if it's possible.

I nearly bought these for $100 just yesterday at best buy... talk about some good luck that I decided to wait and see if they went any lower during holidays. Man I love Amazon, best sales. In for 1 plus a Final Fantasy XII-2 at $15, wootwoot.

Just as a heads-up: these do not work with consoles (at least not without a ton of customization). There is a way apparently, but it looks like a nightmare for those of us who aren't tech experts.

The Logitech F540s are basically the same headset, but built for consoles.

They are actually pretty sweet. You can connect a Xbox 360, PS3 and I think a TV in case you quickly swap between the systems and want all the sound piped to your dome. The G930 doesn't have any of that functionality built in, at least, but that Logitech forum might have some custom solutions that cost a bit more to make work.

How can a stereo headset be "7.1"?

Excellent headset. Mine get plenty of use, 4-5 hours most days, and I've had a few random disconnects from like a microwave or something, but other than that, no problems at all.
