I received the TV this week and have no issues with it. Replaced a 51" 720P Samsung. I am not an audiophile, but can tell the blacks aren't as dark as the Samsung. I calibrated with CNET settings, which can be found here if anyone wants them:
I still don't know why anyone would have a large TV like this sent to their house unless they don't have a vehicle big enough to pick it up. I would always have something like this sent to the store, at least then you don't have to worry about it being damaged in shipping.
Called Walmart.com's customer service number (1-800-966-6546) and they're processing a replacement. Whoo, another week to wait.
Same exact thing happened to me. Walmart shipped out a new one and supposed to arrive Tuesday. Hope the same thing doesn't happen again. Their is no protection on the screen, the padding is on the top and bottom of the box, nothing on the most important part, the screen itself. The fed ex knuckleheads probably treat these boxes like Airport workers treat luggage.
i did not like those either adjusted a few settings here is mine
Picture mode - Movie
Backlight - 53
Color - 62
Tint - 0
Sharpness - 0
Red Gain - 104
Red Offset -124
Color Enhancement - Rich Color
all other settings OFF
I'm currently trying these settings.
I don't really care for the CNET settings either, it seems dark and the picture doesn't "pop" like I would hope.
Does anyone else have different settings they've found or are using?
Thanks in advance.
P.S. Has anyone had problems with the Wi-Fi? I went to the Network settings, it originally found my Wi-Fi, I entered the password, it connected. I tried to Launch Netflix, but it's unable to connect. I tried everything, but to no avail. Now the t.v. won't even located my Wi-Fi, and if it happens to, it won't connect anymore. I have Wii in the same entertainment center and it's able to connect with no problem, so, it seems like the "antenna" in the tv is week or maybe there's something wrong with it. Any ideas/suggestions?
Edit: In case anyone had same internet problems. I called Vizio, the semi-helpful guy said they want the router within 30 ft. of the t.v. Mine was about 35-40 ft. away. I re-worked mine and got it at just under 30 ft......problem solved. Signal is full bars now with absolutely no problems.

Guys, WTF??? I'm trying to connect the TV to my WD Live SMP and trying to select 1080p @ 60hz on the SMP, BUT, the TV wont accept this input (black screen, defaults back to 720p). The only settings that work on the SMP are 1080p @ 24hz and 1080i at 60hz. Please tell me this isnt an issue with this TV. It's supposed to do 1080p at 120hz (which implies 1080p @ 60hz should work fine, which is the best setting for the SMP), and my previous TV worked fine with the exact same cable/WD Live (55" 120hz TV). So this problem is TV specific. Can someone please help out??? TY guys.
How is the bleeding/flashlighting on your guys sets? I know with an edge lit led you have to expect it. I have some on the bottom right and left corners, not bad enough to warrant a return. Great set so far i am very happy.
Seriously, WTF is going on with this TV? When I play my Sony BD player, it says "not support!". I cant see the BD player's home menu. But when I put in a Blu Ray disc and it autoplays, then I see the picture with source 1080p HD.
SO, the best I can get is 1080i at 60hz on my WD media player (vs 1080p @ 60hz), 1080i on cable TV (which is the max), and no support for the BD player's home menu but then it autoplays in 1080p. WTF??? This a defective unit or this TV just piss poorly made?
-ok guys, I'm starting to get really pissed off. My TV can only do 1080p @ 24hz and no higher. I cant support the menus of the WD Live SMP or a Sony BD player that are running at 1080p but higher than 24hz. WTF????? This is a 120hz TV. Is this blatant false advertising?????????
