Nope. Win 7 phones can only be upgraded to Win 7.8 and not Windows Phone 8

I know its pretty much end of life OS, I just want something cheap for my parents to upgrade their GSM flip phone - easy to use interface, big icons / fonts - nokia drive, no data plan required to use the GPS software, maps download to phone. - easy to use camera - cheaper than iOS alternitives |

the FP @ $160 was just stupid, even though it was new
maybe at half this price, considering you can buy used plenty of places for sub $80, plus you still need to get this unlocked... |

So are there big advantages to having Win 8 over 7.8?
Are there already aps that don't work over 7.8? Does 8 handle things like multible browswer windows open at the same time much better? THIS SPACE IS FOR RENT. SEND PM FOR TERMS AND RATES.
