These guns are awesome.
Bought for my nephews last christmas and one for myself to play to. You can mod them easily to take aa batteries. Go to radio shack get a 8 aa battery pack thing for like 3 bucks. Then get 9v battery connectors, ebay is real cheap. I soldered the wires onto battery terminals in the gun and then clips onto aa battery pack. Alot cheaper to use AA's |

So tempted but I have the Vulcan, Long Strike, and a couple other big Nerf guns collecting dust in the attic, lol. And I bought those for me, not my 2 little kids
 Removing the air restrictor makes a world of difference. |

My kids have this and they LOVE it. It eats the crap outta some batteries but they have a blast with it so whatever.

People worried about D batteries. Use AA batteries with spacers.
Something like this. http://www.amazon.com/Sanyo-Enelo...op+spacers Sorry though no current deals. But there have been deals in the past with spacers packaged with Eneloop batteries. The Lacrosse battery charger that everyone raves about comes with spacers. (Only 4 D tho) |
