Did anyone get an email to complete a survery from Dell? I got it a few days ago, but haven't filled it out yet. I went to fill it out, and this is what I got...

Not sure what to do at this point.......Ordered 3 14z's with two different orders. Same as everyone else. All were changed to the 15. Haven't received them yet. Signed the Groubal a few days back and also submitted complaints to BBB and FTC. I have 4 kids, work 6 days a week, and spent almost $1000. Pretty much all I've gotten so far is a migraine from Dell's negligence. Please let me know if there's anything else I can do for the cause. Thanks

Ok, I emailed Gerard James that he offered other people $100 discount (I sent the link to his email quoted by a SDer) with no limitation and why it was only $50 for me. I also added the same into my BBB complain response.
Discover Card offered a 2% additional cash back on 11/23 (single day offer) making the total cash back 12% on that day only. |

The 2% might actually be on top of that, as it's the same thing as their typical 1% throughout the year on any purchase. Not sure about this part though. Moot point now. |

Just got pff the phone with "Shuba" in reference to my BBB complaint. Was offered the same deal as everyone else. Inspiron 15 or $100 off of another Dell laptop. I explained that I would be satisfied with my original order, or another laptop at a similar value (% off msrp), or another 13 or 14" laptop of similar specs. She says "Dell is unable to offer you anything more than the 2 choices".
Yeah right, big Dell is "unable" to offer us what we waited and were confirmed for. Not just that, but they are "unable" to offer anything even remotely close to what we ordered. I call BS. They could easily give us all brand new ultrabooks, or alienware laptops, etc.. at the price we paid and it wouldn't even dent their profits. Not compared to the business they are going to lose from me and my friends/clients over the long term. NOTE! I was one of the 2 folks told that I could be put on a waiting list for the correct 14R. She told me that there is no such list, and that no rep would tell me this. Yeah, I just made that up for fun. RRRRRR. When pressed to look at my customer service record she said that there was "no record" of that offer being made. So, more lies piled upon lies. I told her that they are not providing an equitable solution and my complaint is not resolved. On I go to update my BBB complaint with this mess. I'm not budging or folding. Eff them, they made this personal by lying to me, wasting my time, and attempting to foist off some of their old stock on me. :-) |
