So I finally got them to use the GC's, but it was a nightmare. I had to call customer service and cancel the order and then was transferred over to sales. The sales guy gave me the same price and added the GC's but I was on the phone a good 30 minutes during all of this. Not fun but I ended up getting this for ~$575 after taxes and then bought a Radeon 7850 to replace the crappy 620 this comes with. How on earth they can build a powerful machine like this and put that video card in it is beyond me.
The $499 deal from Microsoft went away so fast. I was late and just ordered this instead for my younger sister. What is the maximum amoutn of RAM can this XPS 8500 handle anyone knows? I plan to buy some more RAM when newegg has a deal for it.
