do we need data plan with this phone i have a simple plan t mobile

I'd be cautious about calling it legit. Generally the cards and pin you get are "legit" insofar as they will activate, the balance will be added, and things will seem to be fine. You run the risk however with it being bought from stolen CC info in which case your service will get shut down and you'll need to prove you're not at fault. It's not the first time that site's popped up on SD and the sentiment's always the same there as it is with any other of these prepaid resellers - be careful with what you buy as even though it may seem fine it isn't necessarily going to be in a week.

You need to look at the tmobile site.

There are different plans and yes they do have a $30 plan, 1500 mins and 30 mb data....

I have the basic pay as ou go $100 for 1000 mins

There are other no contract plans

No data at all. I have PAYG $100 for 1000 minutes dealie and dont get any data, not even EDGE.

On my coolio Samsung WP7.5 I got from the MS Challenge.

is the phone the exhibit 2 4G? The image shown on the tmobile website is that of the samsung exhibit 2 4G but the title is samsung exhibit 4G

i agree totally thats why i buy with callingmart only. with their 5% discount i still save some money

i was wondering about that too. att has had data and messaging packages that can be added to the basic talk minutes.
i wonder if getting this phone and using it with att would be worth it.
if I've read correctly, att automatically adds data plans to smart phones. I don't know at what rate and I don't know if it's just their branded phones though.
I think they go by the phones imei

Data Plans: T-Mobile's monthly data plans come with unlimited data, but have different levels at 4G speeds. The 70 dollar and 30 dollar plans include 5GB at 4G speeds. The 60 dollar plan includes 2GB at 4G speeds, and the 50 dollar plan includes 100MB at 4G speeds. The 3 dollar pay per day plan has 200MB at 4G speeds. The per-minute plans do not have an option for data.
