Amazon Prime 1 month Trial - Worked on my account with previous Amazon Mom

Hopefully this will help a few more of you like me for the holidays.

Just before jumping on this great deal for a Windows 8 upgrade (http://slickdeals.net/f/5553998-W...-99-Amazon), I noticed the option for a 1-month Free Trial to Amazon Prime. Now, I had an Amazon Mom account in the past and had it go for the maximum extension of a year or so, and I don't believe I had ever been eligible for trials again after that. But this time around on my checkout screen where you choose the shipping options, I clicked on the trial button and was actually granted the 1 month trial! That takes me from now through 12/22..perfect for the Hannukah & Christmas time rushes.

If this helps even a few people, then I'll stand tall in the face of multiple thumb-downs.

Edit:
I just noticed that this actually DOES include free video streaming too.

I think it was the same screen where you actually submit your order. I noticed the trial offer just under the radio-box option for Free 2-day shipping.

I was at work messing around on amazon.com on my new smart phone and saw the offer. If its not working on your computer try it out on your smart phone. Maybe you'll get lucky.

OP make sure you disable the option which says you membership will upgrade to 1year automatically, otherwise after 1 month trial they will charge you for the full year.

I think you got amazon prime trial again because it has been 15 months (one and half year) since your amazon mom ended. I remember reading someone on amazon prime page that says you can start a 1 month trial if it has been 15 months since you last had prime. If this is not the case, maybe they are generous cause of thanksgiving and all.
