I'd keep the Vizio. The Panny is $200 more and 5" smaller. Black Friday is about getting the best deal, and the 55" isnt the best deal here.

Doesn't Vizio break often, from online reviews. To get serviced, it's a pain in the buttocks as well.

It isn't a good deal if you care about quality. If you don't that's another story.

I REALLY wanted that 60" Vizio and wasn't able to snag it. I did, however, purchase the 55" Panasonic. Given my disappointment about not getting the Vizio, I would love to hear that the Panasonic is as good or even better than the Vizio.

Panasonic FTW in this case IMO

I'm a little disappointed with his years BF. I waited hours in line at Best Buy only to wait in another line inside the store to purchase the Panasonic 55" 3D TV deal. I was coming up to the teller only to find out they had just sold out. So as frustrated as I was I went and dished out 3 times the price for another Samsung priced at 2700. Smart marketing sure get the customers in the store and when they're let down have them buy something else at probably standard price anyway.

The day after and I'm not regretting dishing out 3k for a TV I was originally going to pay 900$ for. If anyone has any deals or suggestions out there I would really really appreciate them because I'm seriously never going to hear the end of this with the wife :/ Gracias

I got the Panasonic for ~$800 about a month ago from Fry's. It will be available again for ~$900.

I would keep Panasonic, not because I know the brand well; but, because I dislike Vizio. Bought a Vizio 40" for my workout room to replace a Samsung. Picture quality, I cannot tell much of a difference. The sound is much worse than Samsung; and don't get me started on the remote.

Spending $3k for a failed $900 plan is never good. I suspect you can get the same TV for $3k on normal days. Return that $3k tv and at this point, might as well start looking at what Cyber Monday has to offer.

I believe if you bought this model "TC-L55E50" and not the 3D one, then the VIZIO is certainly a better buy. This model's daily price is $888 and not a BF special.

In case you listed the model number wrong and bought the Panasonic 3D Model "TC-L55ET5", then it depends if you really need 3D or not. If yes then keep Panasonic. If no then Vizio is a better buy.

I was lucky enough to purchase the Vizio 60" from Amazon for $688 which is $211 cheaper than Panasonic 55" 3D Model and a better buy unless one is wanting the 3D feature and ready for 3D transition and subsequent purchases of 3-D Blu Ray payer, 3-D movies etc.

So which one did you keep?
