Thanks OP. Called the number on the Walmart product page and was able to upgrade an existing line. It took a while on the phone, and the rep had to get his supervisor but he got it done.
Just a note that they do try to sell screen protectors and accessory bundles that you have to turn down (unless you want them ofcourse), but the rep was not pushy and was polite and helpful all throughout.

You just have to choose provider and then go to upgrade. Then click keep existing plan and remove the one the are offering. I was on phone and ended up just figuring it out myself. I was confused also. It works
I am a new customer to ATT. It is not allowing me to choose the plan with unlimited text. Only options available in plan selections are with optional text which is 20c or 30c each.
Any one got a way around this?
