And back in stock again ... I think they are selling 1 item at a time.
IMHO, I stopped using Dell a long time ago after their bad build quality. I had tried fixing my own Dell laptop and the screw won't even come off. Switched to Sony Vaio which has a better build quality. But then this is a really good deal - Core i5 + 8GB DDR3 RAM + 1TB HDD + Bluetooth + USB 3.0 for just $480. I pounced on it since my Sony Vaio (purchased 2.5 yrs old) heats up a lot and shuts off in between even after I replaced the thermal compound on the processor and GPU. |

I got one. no tax , makes this a better deal than the microsoft 399.00. acer I5
Are returns difficult to microsoft? can you just send it back? this has 2gb more ram and the dvd is a burner with a slightly faster cpu Last edited by terrydude47; 11-23-2012 at 09:04 AM.. |

Nice deal. I just picked up a laptop today, but there is a similar deal here @ my MicroCenter but it has 6GB ram and it was $30 more.
Very nice laptop, I tried this out and the i5 is very snappy, 3rd gen too. it has bluetooth as well which is a plus. I picked up the cheaper lenovo g580 for $449.99 + tax, which I kinda regret but I think any deal with an i5 and 8GB of ram for under $500 is a steal, not to mention its has rival specs which should make it at least a $700 lappy. |

Personally, Dell isn't a bad maufacturer, its their customer service that is bad. But in terms of build quality, their laptops are pretty sturdy. I would try to avoid Acer or Gateway, I ought one of their products and it just had the worst build quaities ever, of course you have to take care of your products but my laptop was just falling part. |
