Bestbuy has the product now but you can only pick it from available store. It has a limit of 1 per customer. The price is still $99.99.

Guys, I'm thinking of buying one or two of these Seagates - Backup Plus 3TB External USB 3.0 Hard Drives might fit my needs, need advice please if these will works as NAS drives.
I've been meaning to do this for a awhile, I'm hoping someone more experienced can get set me on the right track so I do it the right way the first time. Our home uses Laptops and tablets, and I manually copy all our photos and videos to a a drive on a laptop and andthen a backup to an external drive, I also have a Linksys e4200 v1 router. With all the deals this weekend, I wold like to maybe purchase 2 x 3TB hard drives, one for the primary backup and the other as the secondary, as well I was thinking maybe they could be hooked up to the e4200 and then all the photos videos could be accessed on my network from any device and backups could be automatic. Looking for advice on making all this easy, the 3TB external drives *I was considering were, Seagate Backup Plus 3 TB USB 3.0 Desktop External Hard Drive (STCA3000101) I'm willing to buy different equipment or upgrade my router. Will it get too hot if left on 24/7? Is there Software that can sync folder between two different drives toi make sfure my pcitures on my Primary and Secondary drives are backed up properly? How much is a comparible 2.5 drive, I do hate the fact that it needs a power cord. Thanks for any advice. |

Need some advice, so guys, I picked up 2 3 TB drives, one through this Amazon deal and another through Staples PM. The only thing is I only need one drive, so what should i do with it? Is returning the easiest option? I don't think I will get much reselling, not do I want to resell an HD. I paid around $80 for each after rewards and coupons. I have already opened the Backup Plus and will keep that one.
