I was at least holding out hope for a $25 promotional credit with a Fire HD purchase, but no luck! Maybe it's because all the GC deals are in-store only so they don't feel inclined to match them???

Been waiting for a Fire HD and the Asus TF700. Kind of disappointed that both didn't go on sale, we'll see what happens on Cyber Monday.

I've been annoyed at the lack of Paperwhite love. Even the stores that give out GCs are banning them from inclusion. Kinda how everyone's not discounting the iPad Mini whatsoever.

Nope no deal from them on Kindle. Weird since the retailers all offered something... heck Staples offered $25 off of it and it wasnt even BF yet

Yeah I was waiting for Amazon to post some deals for Black Friday as well.
I ended up in Best Buy today (in fact I went there solely to test out the Kindle in person). Surprisingly (?), they still had the one I wanted in stock, so I ended up picking it up. I can use the giftcard for next year's BF sales haha. Never before have I saved—and spent—more money!

I think it is all weekend, and I am really hoping so, since I will be by today also, since amazon looks like a nogo. The trap is amazon customer service is 110% better the BB's. So if the Fire has a dead pixel, my guess based on reviews is amazon fixes it (not sure what the time limit is though), but possibly out of luck at BB. Then it comes down to extended warrantee prices and if it eats the GC bonus and is even worth it.

I guess Amazon doesn't really care if customers buy the Fire HD from competitors, because they make their money on the content. I've been looking for a lower price or a good promotion with the 32 GB, but I think the current Amazon price is as good as it will get.

I think it is a bit pushing it to think they would discount a device they just released. The only thing they are discounting is the original kindle fire to 129.00

I just bought the Kindle Fire HD 32GB, including charger and $3 movie credit, for $252 (shipped). A $10 discount was automatically taken off the charger and I applied an Amazon Local Kindle accessory code that gave me $6 off. Not a deal, but it was a little less than expected.
