Went for it after missing the other deals. The seller is shipping from California so it's likely to be taxed if you're in California.
This seems like the best priced deal I've seen so far if you consider taxes. Assuming it arrives. According to my google searches it seems as if Apple treats the start of warranty based on activation in iTunes so a sealed ipad should be okay for a warranty off of ebay. |

iPad 2 is a powerful, $400 tablet (imo overpriced at that amount) with the same specs as the iPad Mini so it will receive continued support for quite a while.
Not everybody needs the Retina screen, I bought a refurb iPad 2 for my Mom right when the 3 came out (the refurb was $319), she hasn't put the damn thing down. |

anyone know how to add an accidental damage warranty to this? I checked Squaretrade, but based on category the seller listed it in (Other), they don't claim to do it.

Thanks OK, bought this for my parents for Christmas. My mom keeps getting viruses on her laptop and this would be more portable for her.

I agree, why ipad2? you can get a refurb ipad3 from apple for the same or a new ipad3 for a tad more.
