wow, this is slick. at least from what i've ever seen. since amazon charges taxes for CA now. might just grab me one. just got back from best buy, luckily i resisted the 1034. i wonder if this deal apply for in store too?

came out to $1038 with taxes and shipping in california. it's like i bought it from amazon with no tax, like the good ole days.

I am finally done searching for my wife's Macbook. Is this really a good deal? How will this machine perform next to an i7 laptop with a good graphics card and 8 gb of ram that I could have bought for the same money? This is an honest question, not trying to be the typical Mac threadcrapper! Outside of the iPad, I am new to the Apple world.

Does Fry's sell open boxes or refurbs? This is a really good price. The page is lacking details, like MD101LL/A isn't written anywhere on the page, and this product page cannot be found if I search for it using Fry's search engine. Seems a bit shady. Then again, I never ordered from Fry's before.

If you search by UPC you will see that it matches up to that model. This is a a Black Friday deal, listed on fry's ad.

I bought at Fry'sI cancelled at Fry's I tried to call Amazon and noticed that it went OOS I reordered at Fry's They are probably wondering what is wrong with me..
