Great deal. Frickin' amazon went straight from 0:00:00 to "Waitlist Full" on this item and Best Buy started randomly selling it early (before thanksgiving) so by the time I saw it, it was OOS. With tax this would have been the price anyway. Good find!

What TV would you prefer: Vizio 60" Class LED 1080p or this?
I'm searching google right now for comparison before it goes out of sell, but I want to know what you guys think as well.

I wouldn't buy a Vizio, maybe because I'm snob and should know better. I'd do some research, but Vizio reminds me of cheap LCD picture frames.

This TV has a glossy LED screen but not as glossy as the LG or Samsung - this was one of the reason I bought this TV over the other LED tv's that were on sale last month. It has an IPS screen which allows a wider viewing area.

I ordered a 55 inch TV from Ebay/Buydig on November 15th. It shipped Nov 21st, and the estimated delivery date is now November 28th. Hopefully that gives you an idea of what to expect...

Bought this TV from FRYs in Oct for 844 shipped (LINK). TV has been great. Out of the box it does have the Soap Opera Effect going on but if you don't like it, it is easy to turn off. Picture is great but it does have a little bit of a gloss.

Not for me, because I'd pay tax on Amazon. I also hate the heat plasmas emanate too, especially in 115F weather on my upstairs bedroom. Also Plasmas are generally heavier, which is not good for my 70"extension mount. I think that this was a great deal, the more I ready reviews on it, the happier I get. There's this guy on Amazon who put in on a bright room and it worked fine, a plasma is generally not that good at that.
