Staples Ad 11/25~12/1 Double Ink Recycle with $50 HP purchase

Same here... The discount is applied automatically once they scan your rewards card and finish the transaction before payment.

Actually, the copy paper has a $3.99 rebate this week which is limit four, but it appears that the extra $3 rebate is indeed limit one per the rebate terms and conditions.

So. If I recycle this week before the 1st and purchase 50 in HP ink I can get the DOUBLE DOUBLE for November and do the same after the 1st and get the DOUBLE DOUBLE again for December?

That is partially correct. You can recycle this week before the first and make the $50+ HP ink purchase and get double double for November and then purchase $50+ in HP ink on the 1st and get double double again.

On or after 12/1 and yes you will get the double double rewards again. Each month qualifies on its own for this promo. Been there done that last Nov/Dec. $50 ink in Nov plus carts then another $50 in ink in Dec plus carts.

Staples rewards sent me a mailer about the 10% off about 2 weeks ago saying that I'm entitled for that discount, but no mention about expiration. Guess I'll have to contact them about it.

Looks like the 'double double' runs from 11/25 to 12/15, not 12/01. One can participate in the promotion once in November and again for December.

Check the fine print below in the email for an expiration date. Mine have it.

Just read over the fine print in that mailer and found this statement "10% discount valid for 1 year from activation". Bingo, looks like the discount will stay with my account for quite some time.

10% off is automatic once your rewards number is added to the transaction. The special 10% off HP ink card is just another rewards card. There is no card to punch in a manual discount. What they are typing in, is simply your rewards number. It's on the back of the card, but there is no barcode. I prefer to use my regular rewards card since it has a barcode and seems to be the quickest way.

One other thing guys does using any of the CB Sites interfere with the rewards that are offered at Staples, say for instance this deal when oredered online?

Before I got the 10% card, I did make sure they scanned my rewards card and went to the total, but nothing came off. If the 10% off card doesn't do anything then the only thing I can think of is that the 10% wasn't active when I used it the first time, but it did show the discount at the kiosk... I really don't know, I haven't bought ink in store since.

Nope, CB websites have absolutely nothing to do with Staples Rewards. Completely separate. Cheers!

This gets into more of the theory of Staples and it's frankly something I WILL NOT be risking, but.....

If there's already a running rebate with a limit of 4, all this coupon does is take $3 off the product purchase price to effectively make it FAR. Staples has run these promos in the past where they take their paper, send out an email blast to members that will effectively make the current sale.... FAR.

However, the system will still kick out a rebate for three more paper purchases. But, will the system recognize that you used the $3 off coupon? I say No. After all, the system does not care if we use staples coupons, competitors coupons and rewards on our SER purchases.

With the photo paper, it looks like it activates a secret rebate in their system and in that case, the limit of one is absolutely the limit of one.

I hope that makes sense.

tl;dr -- basically, I think you probably could get away with using the coupon for FOUR paper purchases since all the coupon does is take $3 off your paper purchase. I don't think that this is an EXTRA rebate but rather just rather a $3 off coupon based upon Staples promo history.
