both can do skype. reviews on amazon are not great on LW2031..but it's $50..and amazon sells it for $210

LW2425 is a new model..but it seems that reviews for similar model are very good.

I bought two of each..as family is expanding.

EDIT. Need to go all the way thru and it deletes shipping!!!

Have the Costco version and it's been great although the sound detection is spotty. The size of the monitor is perfect to take around with you from room to room. Also the camera is rechargeable so you can take it on a small trip and hook it up.

Getting the Skype one for a present!

I'm having problems with the foscam app not refreshing. So it looks like the baby is still asleep, but the actually app is locked up. I'm using it on an iphone 5.

We got a replacement and it crapped out on us 92 days later.....2 days after the Amazon return period. We contacted Amazon and got a refund- great customer service. We wanted to replace it again since we bought extra cameras for their bedrooms, and this is a great price.
