or this 32" LED http://www.walmart.com/ip/Samsung...0/20554011
The title on the web page says 60Hz but the Samsung specs and customer reviews say 120 Hz

Thanks for the info...I'm now getting conflicting info on whether there is a 60 Hz or 120 Hz on this model. There is a 120 "Clear Motion Rate".

Thanks for the info...based on your recommendation of the 32" Samsung would it be worth it for me to just throw in another $75 and get the 39" LED Samsung (1080p, 120 Mz) at Walmart today?
I'd get the bigger Samsung.

The Samsung is 60Hz, guaranteed. CMR is just advertising to make the Hz rating look higher. Actual Hz is half the CMR listed by samsung.

does everyone agree I should take one of the Samsung's over the RCA or JVC? I mainly watch sports - baseball, football and basketball.

If the price is right, get the 120hz. But most units on sale will be the 60hz.
Nothing wrong with the 60hz, but the 120hz will have a more crisper picture.

I have 5 LCD TV's. All 60hz, and rate them in this order of best picture.
1) 32" Samsung - Used as my computer monitor. BEST PICTURE!!
2) 40" Sony - Home media center
3) 32" Sharp - Girls room
4) 32" Toshiba - Boys room
5) 32" Off brand - Master Bedroom
Very cheep, only paid $160.00 Don't buy an off brand.
This one gets to hot & then the sound cuts out.

My next purchase for a replacement will be a Samsung.

thanks for the info..I may head back out to walmart and see if the 39" tv is still available but it looks like the price walmart has on it is about the same as many other places..there were still a few remaining out there

Well I wussed out and just went ahead and got the 39" Samsung from Walmart. It wasn't a great deal but it helps that Walmart is the only retailer within probably 100 miles so if something goes wrong I can just take it back to the store instead of having to deal with shipping. Set up was a snap and the picture is ok. I watched several football games today on it and they were fine.

Best price for the size that I see right now. I can't personally vouch for the brand, but I have seen others here and there post decent reviews for it. My opinion, you get what you pay for and are probably better off with the Samsung. I'm still hoping for some new cyber deals for Kmart/Sears.
