That's the kind of specific input that helps people learn what other people would like to see. As an infrequent poster (and visitor) here I don't always remember the cues that other posts suggest. That said, my (obviously now outdated) recollection was that $25 off $75 Staples coupons were so universally used that the conditional wording in the title should have been a pretty good clue, which was probably why I didn't think of being more explicit.

Staples and the Feds went after ejunkie and the others. They're long gone. The 25/75 coupons are not as easy to come by as they were earlier. Unless you got a coupon in the mail you're out of luck.

I didn't have a 20% or $25/75 coupon so I threw any e-mailed coupon code I could find at the cart and found that the one dated 11/14 and titled "Two coupons and great holiday gift ideas." contained a $10 off $50 one-time use code that was supposed to be only for cleaning and breakroom supplies but for some reason worked on this item too. YMMV.

I saw on newegg reviews that this hard drive has smart monitoring disabled. I would not buy this without that important data safety feature.

Many folks who post on new egg aren't very bright.

I have this drive and can assure your that SMART monitoring is not disabled. More likely the idiot attached the drive to a controller that didn't support SMART monitoring or had it disabled in his BIOS.

Sorry for the TD but this is a repost, you need to improve your readability and you talked about using a $25 off coupon - of which there are few real ones since Staples put a stop to the illegal eJunkie coupons.

anybody know what drive is inside these and if the drive is easy to remove from the case? I am thinking about getting 3 of these for RAID in my WHS2011
