Of course, automatic movement cost a lot more to make. I have the green watch. personally, I love the fabric feel on my wrist |

Pretty expensive for a Seiko... I mean.... a few bucks more you can have a Skaagen.

These were $65 on groupon, not $85..the $85 ones were the "Sports" version, which are a slightly better version of the Seiko 5 (23 instead of 21 jewels, longer water depth (100M), slightly larger face if I remember correctly).
Both are great casual watches though and still a good deal at $60 for the non Sports 5. The steel face looks great with NATO straps as well as leather. |

Great price for a day & date automatic with a Japanese movement. Most autos at this price would be Chinese based movements which are not bad in themselves but the Seikos have a proven reliability record.

After doing a little research it seems this watch, and automatic watches in general, tend to keep time pretty poorly. Some people on amazon are claiming this watch in particular is 1-2 minutes a week off. However for an automatic watch in this price range this is supposed to be pretty good.

Just be warned...this watch is SMALL. The face runs 38mm, but looks larger in the pics.

I have this watch in black and it is a decent watch. Not used to automatic watched and if I dont wear for a day I need to reset it but that not a big deal.....

These were $55 on here I believe back in the day. I still have it, unworn. Tried it on and it turned out to be too small for my wrist. If it was a few mm bigger I would wear it daily. 38mm looks like a woman's watch on my wrist.
