Little high but i was tired of trying to find a slick deal. Could not wait till BF. Ink looks cheap & has the CD tray to print onto disk directly.

Can anyone comment on the ink usage of the MG6220?

I picked the mx6220 from Staples the other day for ~$52.xx + tax. Only differences from the mx892 that I could tell were that the 892 has fax and an auto document feeder, while the 6220 can print on CDs and has a grey ink cartridge for better black and white prints.

The 892 seems like a home office AIO that can handle some media tasks, while the 6220/8220 seem like media AIOs that can handle some small office tasks.

Got my self one in case the mx892 falls through.

I got the 6220 the other day from Staples ($52.50 + tax) and I can say that the printer is pretty slick and the photo printing is really good, IMO. I guess it would depend on how much photo printing you do...if you print a few here and there, then you could probably cut out something like ShutterFly, but if you print a lot of pictures, then it might not be cost effective in the long run due to the cost of the photo paper and ink.

Awesome - I cancelled my mx892 because it's HUGE and has a weird looking button layout. This looks like it'll have better quality pictures and a smaller footprint but lacks the fax and ADP which I could care less about.

Same for me too. Available locally though. What sucks is it says there's a pick up in store option, but doesn't let you do it at the site. Must have to be in stock online for that to be possible I bet.
