good deal, but it says K12 education, i dont know whether it will sihp or not, as most of us are not working for k12 education.

The processor is slow and only 32 bit (just an FYI). Don't know how it will compare with Win 8 on it. Any takers for it? Interested in it just for kicks.

Yep, tempting but I guess isn't worth it.
Even if you have a spare Win8 license from the $15 deal (like me  ), it will be messy to install and the performance still compromised.I think I will wait a better Win 8 tablet deal.

One drawback is the tablet only has 2gb off non-upgradeable memory. I would suggest the 64gb storage upgrade for an extra $33 since windows is a storage hog. It's only useful if you have a specific use case that can't be handled by an Ipad or Android tablet but, with that said, it's pretty cheap for a W7 tablet which is capable of running W8 (with a caveat that the screen resolution is below the 1366 mark).
Folks who want a tablet that works with a stylus and folks who want to run UBUNTU on this device may find it particularly interesting. Last edited by groundhogdaze; 11-23-2012 at 12:26 PM.. Reason: correction |

Thank you for the tip, but this Tablet isn't a W8 tablet as it comes loaded with Windows 7 instead. Maybe Windows 8 capable, sorta of...
