Also try searches on "eneloop capacity over time". I found this [candlepowerforums.com]and this [candlepowerforums.com]at candlepowerforums, and they can get pretty deep about batteries. Rough conclusions were that after a couple years in storage or after a dozen recharge cycles they still recharge to like new. You should also ask Costco staff if they're out of an item when you don't see any on the shelf. Chances are they really are out, but if they still have any in pallets, all the Costcos I've been to make an effort to put product out. Nothing Good Happens After 2 A.M.

I don't mind few cents difference if I am just getting one pack. Otherwise I will still end up ordering online. What do you guys use to measure battery level? I got a $1 monoprice tester like 2yrs ago, it looks like it is working but I seriously think it is not %100 accurate with rechargables.. Maybe I should just use multimeter? |
