Damn, this is hot. I paid this price for the cpu alone.

Fry's a couple years ago were known to do these CPU + board combos where they more or less threw in a board for free or near free. Seems to happen only once in a blue moon now. I'd say this is legit given their history.

Hmmm...deciding whether to keep the Asrock combo from MC or goes with this one.

Your order isn't set in stone yet. You have to get the ready for pickup email. You may get, it's not available for pickup order/not available email later. I got order acknowledgement but not the ready for pick up. Maybe in the morning they will send us the ready for pick up.

I just put the items together into my cart without the combo. If you do in store pick up, you didn't buy anything yet, just order the store to put it aside and when they ring it up at the cashier, it should ring up at the combo price.

Yup, I did exactly what you did. The combo with the single sku listed in the ad is obviously just going to be the two individual skus bundled together.

I ordered one combo at 2 different stores specifically just to be safe because if this goes anything like previous fry's deals I figure my odds are that I will either get nothing or maybe one combo at one of the stores. The other store I ordered at is notoriusly shady when it comes to these kind of pick up deals.

Still, this beats getting there 10 mins after the store opens and they are OOS like they will be.

I just added both items and checked out with store pickup. Do you know what is their policy with holding items? How long? Will they honor the combo as long as you have both items when you check out?

really excited about this deal. Frys opens in 4 hours and I'm going to have to make it there with 3 hours of sleep and a ton of coffee.
