Awful reviews on the K400 killed the deal for me. I've had awful experience with Logitech Customer Support in the past as well, when attempting to use my manufacturer's warranty on a defective Logitech MX Revolution mouse. (Took me 2 months of slow e-mail responses, I shipped the defective one, then they sent an e-mail saying they'll send the replacement. 6 months later I noticed I still haven't gotten the replacement so I had to e-mail them again. The replacement was a Anywhere Mouse MX, rather than the closest equivalent, the Performance Mouse MX, because at the time the MX Revolution was no longer in production. Needless to say I was pissed at that, and I avoid Logitech if I can help it these days.)
I'd jump on the deal if the ratings were more oriented towards 5 stars. I don't want to potentially lose $23 due to a faulty product. The product seems like a very good idea, and I'm often in a position where this is favorable to use. I often view movies/shows/etc from my laptop connected to a friend's TV at their house, via HDMI. Getting up to try and change a setting in the video player is a pain. It'd also be useful when trying to show YouTube videos to a friend, where you'd otherwise have to get up to type a search out. I'd rather not risk it. Perhaps future revisions to the K400 will solve issues that the low rating reviewers had, and I may jump on a deal for that. I'll pass on this. What about the Best Buy deal earlier this year as well? I ordered 1 there for $19.99 and got 5% discover cashback so total cost was about $20.20 and it took me 5 days to pickup until I was driving by the store because I didn't feel like driving 10 minutes for just that. This is a geat keyboard. I really love it for home media use and the nano receiver never gets removed. I love that I can have the K400 at home using the nano receiver and when I go to work, I don't have to reprogram anything the keyboard and mouse at work utilize the same nano receiver (up to 6 devices).
