T4i's photo and video quality is 95% identical to the T3i and T2i. In almost any situation, you'd never be able to tell the difference between the three.

BHP is also a Canon Authorized dealer so you'll have no trouble with the warranty if you have to use it.

In any case, I'd take the camera with more lenses over the camera with less lenses any day. Those telephoto lenses that you get are decent. Once you've learned enough about using your DSLR you'll want to update your lenses anyways. It may be a little harder to fully learn the ins-and-outs of DSLR photography without having a telephoto lens. The T3i combo comes with the best sub $600 telephoto lens.

Though it depends what you want to take pictures of. I rarely use my telephoto lens as I like shooting portraits and landscapes.

So... I'd say go with the T3i, enjoy being able to zoom into things with your telephoto lens.

sell the "Canon EF 75-300mm f/4-5.6 III Telephoto Zoom Lens for Canon SLR Cameras" which doesn't have image stabilization
and for similar usage you'll have the "Canon EF-S 55-250mm f/4.0-5.6 IS II Telephoto Zoom Lens for Canon Digital SLR Cameras" which gets higher ratings and reviews

Is this the first of the series to have continuous autofocus for video? Anyone have experience with it? That's probably the only thing that would make ditch my old T1i...

Yes, it does have continuous AF, but reportedly it's not always good.

Thanks and repped... maybe I will wait a generation (or two) for that to get ironed out. Just such a pain to manually focus on the fly... getting decent at it, but it takes a lot of concentration, particularly on my F1.8 50mm, where the depth of field is super shallow in video.

I have the Rebel xsi with the 18-55 lens & the 22-250 lens . Would like to have the 85mm f/1.8 lens($359.00) & the 50mm which is a little over $100. Should I eep the xsi and buy the lenses or upgrade to a T4i camera?
