I see, hmmm, my PC is built in 2008 (Intel Core 2 Duo), so it has USB 2.0. I only use my PC desktop for browsing and movies (BluRay), so no gaming. For transfer files, I would probably do it once, from my old drive to this new backup HD and from there, it would probably just be reading files, and not tranferring files. I think I won't upgrade my PC for a while too.
