No normal price is $6.48... This was an item in their black friday ad at bogo, or 3.24, unless you are using cash back/codes like the OP.

IMO, they are worth it for $3, as long as you don't think for $3 you are getting a $15 rubbermaid tote.

I wanted four of each color, but when I went to check out, I saw that the black were available for shipping, so I ordered 8 of those and got them shipped free. I do not want to fight the crowds to pick up in store.

It depends on what is in them. I have some relatively light stuff in them(10-20 pounds) and can stack them 4 high. I also stored xmas lights in them from last year and was able to get them three high. You just need to be careful and not treat them like $20 bins.

Also, when you pick them up, check them out. Last year there was one with a broken hinge. I just had them grab another one and replace it, but after a year of storage(and a few I get into several times a year), they are still working OK.

Just need to set expectations. These are good little Yugo's. Definately not a BMW.

None of the 10% codes worked for me and that was enough of an excuse for me to pass. If I get around to it, I'll stop by the store and pick up a few.

NOT stackable = no go for me. I don't want to have a sea of these spread on the floor in my attic...

These are extremely poor quality The hinges are a plastic pin, and one broke when I was looking at them in the store. The lids don't seat properly, and are extremely thin. The plastic of the boxes is also thin. Some of the boxes had been damaged just by handling by the clerks. I could use a number of clam-shell storage boxes, but passed on these. I would rather pay a bit more and have something that would last a while.

i bought these last year and half the lids have broken off already. the hinges are very flimsy. i will stick with containers that have 1 piece lids.
