Nice work, OP, but what year are you talking about? For 2012, Sunday is November 25. November 26 is Monday. November 27 is Tuesday.

Pretty sure you meant to say to buy the software by Monday, November 26, and get PM on Tuesday November 27.

Where do you find the "Payroll Service Key"? I activate it and at the last page it said my google chrome is updated.

I haven't price matched before, but it looks like Staples would take into account the rebate if you tried to price match to the Office Depot price for next week? Please let me know if I'm missing something. The Staples website says:

"How do Staples coupons and rebates contribute to the Staples price?
All coupons and rebates (including Easy Rebates, instant rebates or savings, and Staples or manufacturer mail–in rebates) are deducted from the price of the Staples product when calculating a price match."

I go to the store for the pricematch. From my experience, the phone CSRs are more likely to look for a reason to deny the pricematch. They are more likely to see if there was a previous rebate.

Thanks for pointing that out. I corrected the day. According to the online ad, the $49.99 price starts on Tueday. That makes sense since the rebate offer ends on Monday.

You can order either online or in the store. The store can pricematch for an online order.

Where do you see that? There is no "Payroll Service Key" needed to activate Quickbooks Simple Start. That's for Intuit Enhanced Payroll. That's was FAR this summer.

According to the pricematch policy, Staples and Office Depot will take into account any rebates when determining the price that you paid. In reality, I (and many others) have gotten pricematches on many products that have had rebates. There are some meticulous employees out there who will diligently search for rebates and who will take coupons into account before giving a pricematch. With this, YMMV.

Can I use a 20% coupon plus a 10 off 50 I was mailed together and still get the full $90 rebate for a MM? Or does staples reduce the rebate to the price paid?
