$90 is a lot of money. It still says "have not received mail in portion" even though I know for a fact my submission was sent to the correct address. I had been in touch with "lou" but he has not responded to my last email. His advice was to resubmit it, but the original UPC was already mailed to them. I'll give them another week and then I'll contact the BBB and see what they have to say. Ive had trouble with intuit rebates in the past but they were for $20 and $30, not $90. This will be the last time I participate in a rebate offered by Intuit.

I think what it boils down to is that big businesses just don't care. They assume that:
a certain percentage will never submit the rebate a certain percentage will submit and forget about it a certain percentage will submit, track and not say anything about a status update a certain percentage will submit, track and raise hell until the check is in their hands. I would be interested in finding out what the actual percentage of rebates submitted are actually paid out. I know whoever is in charge of rebates at intuit takes a sip of his coffee and says "ok guys, we can offer 5,000 of these rebates...but we can only pay about 1000...soo...lets try and make this work. Tell Lynn to cancel my 1 o 'clock. I'm going to hit the back 9 and work on my stroke" |

Better to contact Staples ER to have it resubmitted now.
I chatted online last Friday and was told to resubmit it. After several back and forth emails, they finally entered my rebate with a tracking number. The rebate was invalid due to bad Company ID (Anybody would believe that they really don't have it seven weeks after I registered it?) and submission too late. Called Intuit and they validated it as a one time courtesy. Obviously, they are trying to avoid paying the rebate as many as possible. I had to email my rebate copy three times for them to have it entered in the system. I also emailed the screen shot of my account with the Company ID shown. It's a rebate to avoid in the future for sure. Last edited by ericfw; 01-16-2013 at 11:36 AM.. |

I pre-submitted mine and mailed in the documentation on 11/27. As of yesterday it had still not been received, so I re-submitted by fax yesterday afternoon. Low and behold, my materials were received overnight, but the status was Invalid because of Invalid Company ID. Completely bogus reason to invalidate. Just got off the phone with them, gave them the company ID, and the rebate was made valid. PITA
Fax resubmission # is 866-964-1213 |

Does anyone have a copy of the original form for rebate #12-27949? The staples link no longer works and I'm trying to resubmit.

So I submitted an online service request to Intuit Rebates. Here's the email I received back (with personal info removed) in case it might help anyone else whose rebate is also in limbo. Never again:
