Ha, you should write an ebook about how you get your husband to buy what you want! It would sell a ton and you could take a super nice vacation! Wow, 5 kids, you have my admiration! We were really far too young to have even one, in retrospect, however things have a way of turning out for the best (usually). She's a fine, caring young woman and has done very well with her job.

My bday was the day before Thanksgiving this year which rarely happens. To avoid the "I don't know what to get you" dilemma that happens every year & to avoid something like the muumuu, which thankfully was a one time thing, I just casually mentioned an Amazon gift card and he came through with a VERY nice one. Way to go!!!

I remember my dad getting my mom a mixer or a vacuum one year. How touching! I seem to recall him sleeping on the couch that night.
