Acer G236HL Bdb 23" LED Monitor - $95 w/ FS AC @ Staples

Can someone give feedback about this (23 Led Dell Monitor [amazon.com]) please? I got it for $110 @ Amazon lightning deal then also saw this Asus 23.2" for $120 AC/AR... should I settle for is this Acer / keep the Dell or switch to the Asus!?

I got that amazon one too. I canceled my order when bestbuy showed they had the ps3 monitor in stock (which they never actually had). Regretting it still

man I didn't see that deal on the dell. I would keep the dell, it has HDMI and i don't like rebate

I was gonna' jump on that PS3 monitor deal too! Didn't find any stock + lots of people indicated it had a lot of problems with it too, so I think of it as dodging a bullet.

i got both the dell and the 3d sony display from bestbuy and i'm thinking to return the 3D display. Reviews are horrible

I meant regretting canceling my amazon order prematurely. I'll probably jump on this one now because I don't see any upcoming cyber monday monitor deals

It's too bad Dell monitors are seen as the best monitors. I know several people who have had dell monitors for 5+ years without a single problem.

I have a dell 1704FPT from 2005 and this thing works great. I will admit I had some problems in the past with it not turning on, and the power button broke. But with the magic of dell, it has fixed itself and hasn't given me any problems for many years.

I use it daily. power on/off daily change settings all the time, I certainly USE this thing and it has not shown any signs of wear.

I was about to get this deal, but the viewing angle is crazy bad if those numbers are true.

I looked at my 2007 Westinghouse and that even has 160/170 degree viewing angles. I'm not asking for IPS but 50 degrees? It's not like LCD monitors just came out and are the new fad.

I saw those monitor specs a week ago and assumed they were in error. Thought there's no way those numbers are right. I didn't check into further because I wasn't interested in buying that monitor. No way I'd buy that at any price if those specs are correct.

I've got an old Dell 15" CRT monitor from 1998 that still works. Granted I haven't used in much in the last 10 yrs but it does work and worked good for the first 4-1/2 yrs I used it. And it's still hooked up to the computer that I bought at the same time which also still works. I can't seem to get rid of a working computer .. maybe I'll save it to go into a museum in a decade or so. LOL

I've always had good luck with Dell stuff. Ok, one computer the power supplied died within the first 30 days. They overnighted a new higher watt one, I installed it and it's still working .. it's about 12 yrs old. I use it for storing backups and pictures on, in addition to DVD backups. I used it heavily until 2010 when I bought my current Dell refurb from the outlet which works great also .. no problems with it yet. Guess it's just the luck of the draw.

Need a $8-$28 filler. Any ideas? Want to cash out $50, $112, and $20 in rewards. Thanks.
