My coffee station is pod based (can you you tell that I'm not financially bound by rug rats), which consists of a Nespresso for espresso and a Breville for the coffee. My guests appreciate that they can each have what they want; one may want a very rich cup while someone else may prefer decaf.

I have the same "issue" if you want to call it that.

Sure, the machine fits under the cabinets, but you can't open the top and put a k-cup in - I can only open it maybe halfway before I run out of space and the handle is hitting the bottom of the cabinets. So like them, the Keurig is a few inches away from the wall, so I can lift the chrome handle and open the spout? all the way.

I have the platinum as well and live in a 2k sq. ft. house. I would say the cabinets are mounted above the counter the standard height, but that's just my opinion.

We have the platinum one from Costco, too. When we set everything up, and pop the lid to swap K-cups, the handle hits the upper cabinets. That's if we have it pushed up against the back of the counter. Slide it up a few inches, and the handle opens up fully and clears the cabinets.
We live in a new home, standard kitchen set-up. I think about 20" between counter top and upper cabinet bottom.

Anyone receive theirs yet? I was wondering if it comes in a manufacturers box that is nice enough for wrapping as a gift or is it loose in a cardboard box, like Amazon sometimes does.

Same exact problem here as well.

I think the design of this holder looks great. I have a carousel and one of the wire drawer things which I hate.. the thing is almost impossible to open and close sometimes.

The one costco sells is by SmartWorks [amazon.com] I lost my damn costco receipt so I cant tell you guys how much I paid for it. but if anyone has the same one please tell me its $20! if its more im going to return this thing, nice but not for $36 fml its annoying when costco doesnt have this crap online to verify the price paid!
