I have bought two Dell laptops on sale the last year and both required the removal of the keyboard
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() to replace the HD. One had a HD failure on one and the other I installed a SSD. Does this one have an easy HD replacement door on the bottom of the computer like HP and Samsung ?

I have never had any bad experience with their return policy. You can return it during pickup or if you just dont pick up it will be cancelled automatically. I guess your card is not charged until you pickup. Bestbuy does not charge any restocking fees either.(Frys does) Hope this helps |

Strange - this same model number is on Amazon, Amazon entered (not a 3rd Party seller entered item), and it's listed as having an i3 processor.

So is this one in BestBuy really i5 or i3? |

Everywhere else that carries the I15 mentions that it has Bluetooth 4.0 as opposed to the 3.0 listed on Best Buy's description. Ditto for a 1.0 mp webcam as opposed to a .3 mp. Is it possible that this may in fact have BT 4.0 and a 1.0 mp webcam? I played with a display model at Costco and you kind of get what you pay for. There is quite a bit of flex in the keyboard and the bezel and overall screen assembly doesn't feel very sturdy. The entire shell looks to be made of plastic and will likely pick up fingerprints and scratches fairly easily. There aren't any access panels on the bottom for upgrades. The keyboard has to be removed to access the 2 DIMM slots for memory. To upgrade the HDD, both the keyboard as well as the entire top panel has to be removed. On the upside, there doesn't seem to be any brackets or screws around the HDD. Swapping it out doesn't seem any more difficult than swapping out a memory card or game cartridge. Can't say much about the screen or preinstalled software because some other customer(s) seem to have screwed up the Windows partition. |
