Thanks for the info. Ordered one, then decided to cancel after learning there were no access panels. It's the same reason I canceled my order for the Asus for $350 the other day from TigerDirect. I plan on giving this as a gift and replacing the HDD with a new Intel SSD, and I don't want to have to rip my computer apart to do so.

Thanks for the video. Yeah, it doesn't seem too bad, and definitely a little easier from the looks of the Asus I ordered earlier then canceled. I just prefer to not have to pull the thing apart in order to replace components as common as ram or a hard drive.

Anybody know how Best Buy handles returns of opened laptops? I noticed that their holiday return policy states no restocking fee, but not sure if that applies to a laptop that has been opened and subsequently used/returned. If they'll take it back without an issue, might order it just to see how it feels, and if it's good enough, suck it up and pry it apart to get that SSD in.

I can't find the resolution on this monitor.

With only USB 2.0 and super thick/weighty, if it doesn't have a 2012 resolution, I'm out.

Of course, while I'm looking for the res, it may be out anyway.

It's 720p brah. If you can't tell what the resolution is from that then you probably wouldn't notice the difference between usb 2.0 and 3.0 either.
