I bought phoenix axe gift sets (3) combined in a tx with other items to get my total to $50 and received 10,000 points. Odd thing is that my account shows 5,000 bonus points for hershey, mars, nestle bagged candy (this is listed twice). So I don't know if it was a glitch that I got too many bonus points or I actually got one set of 5,000 points for the axe. All of my spend x get x bonus points show this way.
Next tx I did 6 axe gift sets with other stuff for a subtotal of $75 and I only received 10,000 bonus points - did not get the axe points. This tx had a mixture of axe sets, only 1 phoenix. Mgr tried to ring 9 sets to see what would happen and again only 10,000 bonus points for spending 75$ were credited. This tx had a mixture of axe sets, no phoenix. No clue as to what the heck is going on. |

Due to the current SD settings, I'm not comfortable with everyone knowing who I rep and what I say in my reps. So while I thank everyone for their contributions, I just may not be able to personally since everyone & their DOG can see it. Please - make your Activity Stream PRIVATE HERE! Need a coupon? Come see us in the Printable Coupon Thread....Printables |

This is not exactly a weekly question, as it could apply to many weeks, so my apologies if I shouldn't post it here.
Has anyone tried buying Coke (or other soda products) that have a deposit with your points? The reason I ask is that I see there's no restriction on the Wags site on using points to pay for the bottle deposit, but I'm wondering if anything wonky will happen at the register. |

The Colgate Sensitive is BOGO this week. The Colgate Sensitive Pro-Relief is a different product - not BOGO and more expensive - I think it was around $5.79. I don't know which product is on sale at CVS next week so I don't know if the coupon will work for that or not. Just FYI |

I HATE these axe coupons. Went to three stores today to use the coupon properly and i knew ahead of time the second wouldn't scan. But trying to explain why (when i have no idea) was exhausting. I heard all kinds of excuses today and as much as i know their wrong i'm starting to believe maybe they (unilever) only wanted us to use 1 per transaction. I have 8 more that i want to use but i honestly am not sure how many cashiers i can convince to type in the second coupon. I really want to smack unilever upside their heads for this one. Like it's not hard enough to coupon, now we have to worry about coupons limiting as they please. Sorry for the rant, between walgreens and walmart trips today i'm on the edge.
Does anyone know if this coupon does the same thing at other stores? Last edited by shedevil2530; 12-12-2012 at 08:44 PM.. |

Careful I found out the hard way the threshold is $30.01 at least one of my stores. After two planned transactions of $26 that didn't print, I had to work up some more and spend $30 twice. I was able to return part of the first two receipts, so my spending wasn't so much. After this incident when I tried it at other stores I made sure I spent $30.01 to be safe, but as others have reported it could be just the first store was different. I have way to many returns/rebuys as it is with all the mistakes learning the points RR system to take a chance of messing that up again. I was able to exchange my more expensive Carmex that I bought last night by mistake for the less expensive kind in the ad and didn't lose my Carmex points, since I was still getting Carmex and it didn't deduct my bonus points I don't think for spending $25. I have lost them before, so not sure what was different this time. I also bought 3 Axe gift sets under my account and got the 5000 points alright. Then my husband did an order at another store with 3 Axe gift sets and got his 5000 points for the Axe alright. He then did a second order of the exact same things as his first order and got his 5000 points for spending over $50, but no bounus Axe points. Same exact order! So the lady voided the whole thing and re-rang since she hit quanity the first time she rang the second order, instead of scanning the gift sets which were each different anyway individually like she had on the first order. It still made no difference as the 5000 Axe points still didn't credit. So I called balance rewards when I got home, and they couldn't figure it out either, so she just credited my husbands card 5000 more points. Is there somehow a limit of this deal on each card of 1? I found it very strange and thought for sure it must have been a glitch on the ringing of the second transaction. I thought for sure re-ringing would fix it like the manager and cashier did. Now I am wondering if somehow they limited that deal to one per card? Anyone else experience this? Both times the same 3 Axe scents were bought (it was 3 different ones, but the same in each order). I am going to wait to buy anymore Axe gift sets to see if anyone else has luck getting more than one 5000 points to credit to their account. Which is a bummer because I have lots of the $3.75 coupons. Also as everyone reported the Axe body wash coupons didn't work. However neither of my Axe coupons would work at all on either order, so both had to be entered at the end of their orders. Also a new register glitch I have never seen and neither had the cashier. When the cashier re-rang the order she scanned all the register rewards first on the re-ring and by the time she got to the Dentek coupons she was getting the message that the item wasn't high value enough to use the coupon. I had six Dentek, which all took the first time when she scanned them before the register rewards. Then she thought it was because one of every two was free, but I pointed out then it should at least be accepting three and it took them all the first time. So she manually entered them all that last time. I guess I am going to make sure they scan RR's last, which usually I do, but she had gotten all the coupons from the drawer and was scanning in random order. Order does make a difference in many ways for my transactions. Last edited by gypsylady; 12-12-2012 at 09:28 PM.. |

![]() ![]() I also had a problem with the Axe body wash coupons. The BA at the store I was using them at insisted that it was because they were BOGO even though she had just scanned in the Dentek coupon and they were BOGO as well. She also went on to tell me that I am not allowed to use a coupon on the free item with a BOGO sale. ![]() I tried to explain to her that was not the case but it didn't help any. I was able to get a second coupon to scan when there were 4 body wash in a transaction.SO, since I bought these last week with the $2 coupon when they were truly BOGO50 and the second coupon beeped, I'm led to believe that my previous theory was correct. My theory being, these coupons must be coded for 2 items instead of 1.

I know it's hard to speculate but do you think unilever did this purposefully or do u think it was an error in coding? Last edited by shedevil2530; 12-13-2012 at 01:53 AM.. |
