what constitutes newly released? i've had this phone for the longest.

The deal has been there since the 23rd. I ordered mine that same day n it should be here tomorrow. I'll probably return it n keep my note 2, which will be here tomorrow as well.

Wow. This is an incredible find. I was really debating on buying this phone since I would have to pay the T-Mobile ETF x2 plus 199.99 x2 for two phones. This made my decision MUCH easier

The One X Plus was just released a week and a half ago in the United States and a couple of weeks prior to that in the UK...

Yep, I was debating between the S3 and One X+, but being able to get the S3 from Sam's for less than a buck made my decision a whole lot easier.

Well, the one x+ is only $49 more n it's new with quad core. I was going to get the s3 , but it's getting old in the tooth. Now, I will have note 2 n 1x+.

The one x+ is much faster than the original one x and the galaxy s3 (US versions)

They were both demoted to dual cores when they hit the US, while both were quad cores everywhere else in the world. The US versions of both scored between 5000 and 5500 on almost all benchmarks ive seen. The new oneX+ gets 7000 to 8000!!! It's really no comparison to the older rivals now. It runs similar speeds as the note 2 which is also quad core, but too big for many of us. I was on the fence about it too, looking at going from a one x to s3, but the one x+ changed my mind

The new one X+ is tegra3 quad core 1.7 and blazing fast. Here is a benchmark:

So, I got the one x+ two weeks ago through att for 50$ as a replacement to the optimus g which was just a bad battery experience and nothing else. This phone was offered to me for the same price as the not 2 and I had to chose between them, and I glad I choose this one (x+) for two reasons, the battery life lasts for a whole day and the second things, the screen brightness doesn't need to be down.
The note 2 was just too bulky for me to use as a phone, and I already have two tablets so I didn't need it.
The only thing that this phone is lacking is a decent camera, the one on the one x is much better for some reason, I checked it on the store and there is a noticeable difference. Otherwise its great, snappy gourgeus screen and the best looking android phone I've seen, I would say its only second to the iPhone 5 when it comes to premium feel. Anyway, highly recommended and a great price for a great phone
