I'd like an opinion on this as well. I got the $199 Amazon Lenovo on BF and just ordered this one for pickup with the $20 off $200 AMEX sync deal.

This is for a teen with a reputation of killing laptops. For homework and facebook. I'm not spending big $$$ for his laptops anymore.

It should be fine for surfing and facebook. The cpu is worse than this laptop. Unless you are doing something like video editing or photoshop, you probably wouldn't notice a huge difference.

I had picked that one up for $208 the other night for my brother and his gf who mostly surf the web, Facebook, YouTube. If they're pretty comparable it won't be worth my time to run from store to store picking up and returning....but if it's a much nicer machine I'm sure they'd appreciate it.

The E-300 in that model is a much weaker CPU, it's mostly designed for netbook use.

It's the easiest thing to upgrade on the laptop. You just have to remove a few screws, pop out the old ram and pop in the new ram. It takes 5-10 minutes. The B820 is much better cpu than the E1-1200.

I'm currently using a Dell 1121 i3 ultraportable laptop. I really like it, but I'd prefer something with a bigger screen. I just bought an Asus Transformer tablet for maximum portability, so I don't need my laptop to be ultraportable anymore. I'm thinking about selling my Dell and picking up this one. How will this compare to it?

Overall I think the B820 will edge out an i3-330um due to it's faster clockspeed, but your i3 does have hyperthreading. If you are running alot of multithreaded applications or heavy multitasking the i3 might still be the better choice. If you only running 1 or 2 apps at a time then the B820 would probably be a better choice.
