Mobil 1 Synthetic Oil 4.99 QT + Free Ship to Store at Advance Auto

This is a decent deal, but I think the hottest Mobil 1 deal out there right now is at Peb Boys, with the attached coupon (5 qts and a Mobil 1 filter for $29.99). This deal is valid through 30 Nov. Although it doesn't specify any weights, etc., when I used it they would not apply it to High Mileage Mobil 1, but I believe it will apply to any of the weights they carry. They still had a half-pallet of varying weights at my store in Northern Virginia on Friday afternoon. I know that everyone doesn't have a Peb Boys nearby, but if you do, it's a very good deal.

This is a slick deal. My Pep Boys had them at $5/qt for BF so I picked up 2 cases (12 qts) when I got my $29.99 5 quart and filter deal since I already have a bunch of filters.

These are $7/quart at my Walmarts, so $2 off each is nice.

This is a good deal for those who need special weights not found in the jugs or for the EP. I wish Advance would bring back the $3.99 a qt Mobil1. They did that like two Black Fridays ago. Stocked up big then and finally out of oil.

It is stackable as long as you use the discover card and a different CB program. Since it is a brand store, most CC has 5% CB for it. Discover is just usually higher.

I feel I need to reply to DQue for the benefit of others.

• You're comparing the everyday price (albeit cheap) for the 5qt. jug. This thread is for one quart. It's the cheapest I've ever seen a quart of Mobil1 for, and I've used it exclusively for many years. By the way, the High Mileage formula is the same price as standard Mobil1. Extended Performance is only .50 more.
• You mentioned an expired Pennzoil Platinum promotion as an alternative. Yes, it is a viable alternative when available, but happens to be expired at the current time. Also, many people have brand preferences and would not buy Pennzoil (or any other brand) just because it was cheaper.
• Some people don't shop at Walmart for a multitude of reasons. One of them being Rewards programs. Another reason would be they don't like to support Walmart. A third would be they don't have one in their area.
• Last thing for DQue; what's your problem? Though you haven't been an SD'er as long as me, you're a much more active member than I am. You know better than to sh*t on someone's thread. And for what? Are you jealous? Next time, offer some constructive criticism, or an alternative that's not expired.

Very good deal for GTR owners. Repped! My Walmart doesn't carry 5qts of 0w-40. In for 12 and a few filters. Any oil friendly coupons besides Cashback?

If you like paying $25 + tax at Walmart instead of $25 + tax - ShopDiscover cashback bonus, then have at it, but don't bash the guy who takes his time to share this deal with people who are better at math than you are.

I need 0w-40, which is only sold in quart sizes and most places (including WM) do not carry.

People on Slickdeals actually PAY for motor oil?? A stamp and an envelope is the most I have paid for 5+ quarts of oil for the past 2 years.....and I have a 3 year supply so far.
