Alright, so the difference is basically Titanium is lighter, but Tungsten is more durable and holds the shine better. Does anyone want to sell me? Is the weight difference really that noticeable?
Titanium is significantly lighter. When I got married in May I had a hard time finding a ring I could tolerate. I do not wear rings, and everything felt uncomfortable or heavy. I have 2 cobalt rings, tungsten, and now a titanium ring. The titanium ring gets a lot of small scratches which makes it look more brushed than shiny, but if I use a metal polish on it, the shine comes right back.
I ordered two of these last time and wasn't happy with them. Good prices if you want a ring, but I was happier with the $20 rings on Amazon. FWIW
Why weren't you happy?
Tungsten is thick betwee nthe fingers and the brushed style will wear quickly. Go polish over another finish. Don't like this site though, no indication of a lot of ring widths, I want a 6mm or smaller, seems like half the rings I looked at don't specify anything and if they do they are mostly 8mm.
Think I'm going to have to bite the bullet and go white gold. It's thinner, lighter and I'm really dissatisfied with my tungsten ring. Had it a year but didn't like it from the get-go.
Why were you dissatisfied?

Not all of us need or want to waste lots of money on useless jewelry. Rings / jewelry are for vain people who think others are wowed by their useless accessories.
I'd rather save the money on useless jewelry and spend it on things that are actually useful, like gadgets or a nice dinner two with expensive wine.
You may find this[theatlantic.com] an interesting read..
It is about the elaborate efforts to promote diamonds although the same concepts apply to a lot of things jewelry related. A good solid marketing effort can change our culture in a very short time.
We can all thank Edward Louis Bernays for our desire to spend on various useless stuff we don't need!
