Amazon Black Friday orders slow? Not Shipped?

Anyone else's Amazon Black Friday orders not yet shipped? Not that worried but why have prime if stuff ordered on the 22nd is coming Tues, Wed and Thurs?

I thought the PS3 bundle said Shipping soon at one point then reverted back to not yet shipped. Other items that were not lightning deals are the same way.

If you got 2 day shipping, its 2 business days...meaning it will not ship out until Monday since you bought it on a Friday. If you wanted it quicker, you had to pay extra (4 bucks if you wanted it on Monday, 9 bucks if you wanted it on Saturday)

I've never had it that quick normally. But it is busy and it all depends on where it's shipping from. Technically, if you ordered on Friday before the cutoff, Prime 2-day guarantee is Tuesday. -------------

If you think about it, nothing was shipped out on Thursday....hence why the delays. Thursday was NOT a business day, thus everything has been backed up a day.

I did regular super saver shipping and all Amazon items already shipped for me. Actually even Best Buy items shipped,only thing I am still waiting on is that stupid Dell email with my XBox Live codes.. arggg.

EDIT: I should note I ordered 2 USB cables from another merchant on Amazon Nov 22 and it was delivered on the 24th. Was a pleasant surprise tbh.

That still doesn't explain Wednesday orders not shipping on Friday. I still think thursday orders should have shipped on friday as well, even if it was the end of the day pickup. I'm not complaining, just observing. Nothing was actually received by UPS for shipping until today, a non business day. I'm sensing that they were overwhelmed with the orders, and/or had some sick calls at the warehouses, causing backups.

Nothing even has shipped or has a tracking number.. that is my concern, just not a big one as they should come TUES. But still, no tracking number or updates for the 4-5 things at all in my orders.

In my experience, let say you ordered stuff on Sunday with 2-day shipping, with estimated delivery date on Wednesday, they did not ship out on Monday and ship out on Tuesday, they will automatically speed up the order to overnight. and if you did not get the item on Wednesday I think you can get $10 promotion credit and 1 month extension of Amazon Prime

Qualifying for a Prime Extension under the Guarantee

Amazon Prime Free Trial and Annual Members can receive a free 1-month extension when the promised delivery date is not met. They will also receive a refund if they were charged for upgraded shipping.
