The opinion of the customer service rep at Polk was the following (from worst to best):
RM6750
RM85
TL1600
TL1900
TL350

She thought the new technology of the TL line made up for the smaller midrange drivers so it shouldn't sound any worse than the RM models above. She kept recommending the TL350s but there are no deals on those. All I know is the RM85s sound OK for me with the right sub, so the TL1900s should work too in spite of a wimpy sub. I don't blast my movies and this is for a bedroom that is close to 15' x 12' x 9'.

I hope someone can help me understand why it matters what amplifier is driving these tiny speakers. Unless it's a junk amplifier, which I doubt Denon makes, I'd think it would sound the same regardless if it's a Sony, Yamaha, Pioneer, Denon, or Onkyo. To me it would be like saying is gas from Arco going to make my car drive better than gas from Circle K. I don't think you can hear subtle amplifier differences on tiny speakers. If I'm wrong about this, someone please tell me. I'm not an audiophile, but the tiny bits of logic in my brain tell me the speakers are what's important.
