since people out there are helping find good prices, i need to find a new desktop PC for my grandma.
her budget is under $600 and i do not need a monitor

If this is just for your grandma, and you have no intentions of building it for her or anything. Just get her something simple like this

If she just plans to use this for normal uses and she isn't an avid gamer, for this price range its hard to beat it. But, since you aren't building and you are in that price range, don't expect it to perform miracles and game super fast. This is easily upgrade-able and if its for a grandmother, should work fine and put you under budget.

game or not this is the better power supply. Its modular, which can make your life ALOT easier when installing. Its also gold rated which will in the long run be healthier for your system/energy usage. The rebate looks tempting on the other, but if you're looking for the better quality product the seasonic will probably do you justice in this particular comparison.

No problem. Keep in mind that the asus supports up to 16gb of ram, so down the line you can upgrade it further as well. This laptop has alot of potential for a long life. A solid state/ram upgrade always makes a difference later.

hey guys i need help finding a decent laptop for my father. Price range is around $300-$400 bucks. I need to find a laptop that is lightweight, fast when browsing the web, a great keyboard with decent battery life. My father would most likely use it for business purposes with video chats and very little gaming.

Sad indeed. I wanted a good price on a 3tb internal drive.

My prediction of the $50 128GB SSD was false. Super disappointed in all online stores for not making it happen. It seemed like a sure thing with the prices going down the way they were. This Cyber-Monday sell from Newegg is laughable. No dollars for them :p
