Been waiting since the last deal...

This is a great center to pair with the Monitor 70 speakers that are also on sale right now.

just couple of days ago, i purchased 1 YAMAHA RECEIVER, 2 LEFT & RIGHT FLOOR SPEAKER 1 SUB WOOFER. Am I all set or I have to get the channel speaker too? the reason i bought the above mentioned is to enhance the sound from my LCD TV.

what you mean large DRIVERS? you mean the cable behind it?
dont really know what this is for cos i already bought 2 floor standing speakers and one sub woofer for my yamaha receiver.

someone in review said the size is TOO BIG which can be a con to me cos my tv stand is not spacious.

It is huge, it will not fit in a lot of home theater console setups (mines sitting on top of it).

This is the same price I paid for this speaker in October of last year, it's a good, very loud speaker (obviously have to reconfigure your receiver to line up with your other speakers). Don't feel it has has the crystal clarity or full range as some other similarly priced speakers but I don't think many people will notice/care. Sounds great with music.

First thing I did with mine (it completed my setup) was to blast the Art of Flight Blu-ray, that disc makes any speaker come alive

The drivers are the 2 large speakers themselves. The center channel is probably the most important speaker in a HT setup as it is where your dialog comes from. Can you run a HT setup without a center? Yes. But the sound will definitely suffer. I would strongly urge you to get a center, whether it be this CS2 or not. Did you go with the Monitor 60s? If so, then the CS1 would work fine for you. The CS2 would be better, but the 60/CS1 setup has worked fine for me for over a year now (see attached).

And, yes, the CS2 is a massive speaker.
