Yes it does say 12/14/12 for a ship date.. But I cannot find any other Ultrabook Convertibles that are in stock or as good of a unit.

The Lenovo Yoga says "4 weeks" to ship and is a flawed design (IMO) because the keyboard is on the bottom in tablet mode and I am sure there are going to be lots of broken keys..

The ASUS Taichi has no ship date yet and has dual screens so there is no way to protect the "tablet" screen, plus dual screens is dumb to me, adds weight and cost...

The Dell XPS has a 12/11/12 ship date, is $1400 for the i7 model and even though it is a cool looking unit, that flipping screen would not survive me using it..

I really want a laptop/tablet Microsoft machine and guess I am going to have to wait a few weeks to get it.

Not for 12.5, feels like a little netbook.

I have a 12" IBM Thinkpad X61 with touch screen and I have it running Windows 8 now and it works good. But the X61 is a square 4:3 screen and not the normal 16:9 screen and the X61 is only a duo core processor..

what is wrong with Lenovo? Website has multiple problems when ordering and now being told the parts are not available so they can't build or ship till end December -- What a mess! Who screwed this up?

Not surprising. It's Lenovo. They have a frequently dysfunctional website, they hardly sell anything with decent screens, hardware is hit or miss, and their service is garbage. BUT...they sell stuff cheap so people keep buying and buying. Their stuff is cheap for a reason.
