Thank you. I ordered as well.I missed out on the other deal or whatever that was on Thursday or whatever day that was. This is still a great deal. I've been wanting to upgrade from my old Cannon S90. So I'm excited.

I'm at a loss with all these SLR deals lol... was looking at the 670 deal for Ti, and then at a Pentax K-01 with a 50-200 lens for 460, a D5100 for $550 and this one.....
I want to take pictures of kids in movement (my current camera is a blur for action pictures), nice portraits indoors, and pictures of kids on stage etc...... Someone suggested the Pentax and someone else t3i with a 50 mm lens, I'm not sure which direction to take... Any ideas? Last edited by mrspurplepeople; 11-26-2012 at 07:55 PM.. |

Canon and Nikon seem to be the leading brands in picture quality, features and build quality. So I'd suggest Canon over Pentax.

You should get back the discounted price of that lens. I don't think Amazon will scam you by taking out discounts on other items. So you will go back to original $436 price, plus the hassle of returning the lens.

So I bit on this... Xmas gift for my fiance.
The 75-300mm lens is out of stock. I got a prompt that said I wouldn't be charged until it shipped. That being said, I'm looking at my bank account and I see a charge for 338. I'm guessing whatever amazon did, they only charged me 338 for the cam, bag and memory card. However the discounts worked out this is the pending charge. If I cancel the order for the 74-300mm lens will I only be charged the 338 or will the promotions self adjust and I'll be charged fully? I don't see how the promotions will adjust, besides, I already have the pending charge so amazon can't charge my credit card more money than what is pending, correct? I might cancel off the lens to make this deal 338 which isn't bad at all! |
