It was mentioned upthread, but Shoprite is a large grocery store chain in the Northeast.

I've been looking for a deal on this and I have this in the cart ready to check out but...I think I'm going to turn it down. My instincts are just nagging at me here. 1) The site didn't go into HTTPS until the final screen before checkout, so I entered my address info on an unsecured page. 2) The site only allows you to checkout through PayPal. I've never been screwed over like so many have by PP, and you can hookup your CC to PP, but the less I deal with PP the better, especially if it's forced. 3) I've never heard of the shipping carrier Harco.

I'm probably being paranoid, but I think I'll wait. Best of times to whoever picks up the one I "put back on the shelf."

Next BF there will be updated models that invariably blow these out of the water, selling for $200.

I picked one up. This deal can be linked straight from shoprite's home page. It is part of their cyber Monday specials. I am pretty certain it's legit.

I would not be concerned. First off, you have Paypal to cover you. 2nd, you can always pay with a credit card through them giving you extra security and lastly as others have pointed out, Shoprite is a HUGE company. I have zero concerns
