The Samsung HW-E450 2.1 with wireless sub has a great sound and is currently priced $179.99 at sears. Amazon has it $2 less and is available with Prime shipping.

It was a black friday purchase, tested it on the my kitchen counter and filled up the whole house with great audio quality. Only minor beef that my HDMI cables have to be bent a little due to the confined space, not sure if this will ruin the HDMI cable or the HDMI plugs with time.

Has bluetooth, so I no longer need to turn on the TV for TuneIn Radio or Pandora, very easy to mount (screws not provided) as it weighs less than 5 pounds.

Sears employees mentioned that this is the model that was used to blast music early in the morning when no customers are around.

Same price at Bestbuy, my brother just picked it up a couple of days ago and really likes it but that is his 1st soundbar or speaker system for his TV.

How did you mount it without screws? Just 'stickies'?

Can you use this with any brand of tv? And will the volume on the tv sync with the volume on the soundbar?

It was for $88 at Walmart. Check with the stores, they still have a lot of them, and as of Sunday, they were still priced at $88

Stickies may have done it, but I used my own set of screws, washers, and anchors. It's less than 5 pounds and there is not much vibration coming out of the sound bar at full volume so any set of screws will pretty much hold it on drywall.

I mentioned that screws do not come with the product to be prepared to buy screws/anchors if planning on mounting it.

Costco has the sammy e450 with the hdmi cable and optical cable for $175. The demo unit didnt sound loud enough though

I'm partial to the sony HT-CT150 (199 on sony's site) or the newer HT-CT550W....My brother-in-law has the older CT150 and it's nice, 3D pass through and video switching, pretty cool. The newer CT550W has a wireless sub compared to the wired sub on the CT150. Both are HDMI 3D switching capable, which to me is nicer than the optical sound bars.
